Dr. Liliana Manrique

Dr. Liliana Manrique founded NewEra Medical Aesthetics, where she serves as founder and medical director. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Medical Specialties. She holds a license to practice medicine and surgery in Maryland and Virginia, as well as cosmetic surgery licenses in Colombia and Spain, and she is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Manrique began medical school at sixteen at the University of Valle in Colombia and graduated with honors in medicine and surgery. After running a women's health and oncology practice in Valle, she completed a residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in the United States, which is affiliated with Sunny Down State University in New York, and served as chief resident in internal medicine for three years. Her aesthetic training includes C+C Aesthetic Medicine in Madrid, AFME in France, and study in France under Dr. Pierre Fournier and Dr. Jean Luc Morel in modern aesthetics, minimally invasive rejuvenation and laser. Her practice centers on non-surgical facial rejuvenation and minimally invasive aesthetic medicine, including laser and regenerative treatments. She performs the neurotoxin treatments at the practice and favors a conservative approach aimed at a refreshed look. She also offers PRF under the eyes for hollows and dark circles. She has more than 25 years of experience with these techniques across Europe, Colombia and the United States. She was named one of the 100 Best Cosmetic Surgeons in the World in 2008 for early work in radiofrequency facial rejuvenation. Patient reviews describe her as thorough and detail oriented.
