Dr. Leslie Apgar, M.D.

Dr. Leslie Apgar founded Pura Vida Med Spa and serves as its medical director, overseeing every treatment plan at the Fulton location. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She retired in 2017 from a career in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and has 15 years of experience. Before opening the med spa, she trained at Washington State University in the Honors Program, went to medical school at Penn State University, and completed her OBGYN residency at Penn State's Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Her other roles include serving as Medical Director at Culta and co-founding Aviva Aesthetics, a national platform of medical spas. She has lectured internationally as a public speaker for about a decade, educates fellow physicians on aesthetic technologies and business strategy, and has written a book about opening a medical cannabis dispensary. She is an award-winning doctor. Her approach draws on diet assessment and guidance, peptides, hormone balancing, lab work and advanced technologies.
