Dr. Lekeesha McLowry

McLowry founded Emerge Trichology & Wellness, where she is listed as a Functional Medicine Provider. She is not a medical doctor. She holds a Doctor of Naturopathy and earned a Ph.D. in Natural Medicine from Kingdom College of Natural Health. She is a Certified Clinical Trichologist. She was certified as a Hair Loss Practitioner in 2016 and completed trichology certification through the World Trichology Society in 2017. She has been inducted into the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and belongs to the Institute for Functional Medicine, the A4M Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the American Alternative Medical Association. Before specializing in trichology, she worked as a cosmetologist for 20 years. Her work centers on diagnosing and treating hair and scalp disorders, and she shares hair health knowledge with clients coping with challenging hair and scalp concerns. She creates bespoke cranial prosthesis wigs for veterans and those dealing with medical hair loss. She is Florida's only licensed Cranial Prosthesis Practitioner. She has led workshops for the Look Good Feel Better program run by the American Cancer Society and takes part in the American Hair Loss Council.
