Dr. Leila Grayson, M.D.

Dr. Leila Grayson, M.D., is a board certified general surgeon with hospital accreditation as an Associate Attending Surgeon at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey. Her career began as a general surgeon at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in San Diego, California. In 1995 she opened a private practice in central New Jersey.

She holds a B.A. from Bryn Mawr College and an M.D. cum laude from the State University of New York Buffalo School of Medicine, and went on to postdoctoral education at UCSD Medical Center. Her continuing education covers stereotactic core breast biopsy, laparoscopy, problem solving in endoscopic surgery, an advanced laparoscopic preceptorship, breast ultrasound, training on the Photoderm VL/PL and EpiLight laser systems, and the New York General Surgery Board Review.

She has worked as a clinical instructor at the Annual Wound Management Workshop at UCSD Medical Center and as a symposium instructor there under the Postgraduate Institute for Emergency and Primary Care. She served on the Ad Hoc and Surgical Case Review Committees at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey, and is an active member of the American Association of Women Surgeons and the American Society of Laser Medicine. She has received an NIH Research Training Grant, a Bryn Mawr College Alumnae Medical Scholarship and an Outstanding Teaching Effort award from the UCSD Department of Surgery.

She is an expert injector whose work is recognized for artistry, and clients describe her as giving patients time.
