About
Dr. Landford is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who works as a surgeon and injector at Landford Plastic Surgery, where she is the primary surgeon for breast and body procedures. Her practice centers on aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and body, and she also performs reconstructive surgery. She studied Biology and Medical Anthropology at Mount Holyoke College, graduating with honors, then earned her Doctor of Medicine at Stony Brook University School of Medicine on a scholarship. She completed an integrated plastic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, serving as Chief Resident in the final year, and trained there alongside surgeons in breast, hand, craniofacial, microsurgery and aesthetic surgery. Earlier, she worked at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland, a Level I trauma center, where her work covered facial and extremity trauma and revisionary procedures. She received the Johns Hopkins Clinical Research Award in 2018, and a Leading Women Award from The Daily Record in 2020. She founded the Women of Color in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery organization. Her surgical work includes facelifts, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, brow lifts (coronal, direct, endoscopic temporal and hairline techniques), hair transplantation for thinning areas, facial fat grafting, tummy tucks, breast augmentations, mommy makeovers, Brazilian butt lifts and high definition liposuction. Her injectable work includes BOTOX for wrinkles, fine lines and signs of aging, BOTOX for chronic migraines, Barbie BOTOX, Masseter BOTOX and Lip Flip, along with dermal fillers for volume restoration and facial contouring and lip fillers. She also performs nonsurgical skin tightening with laser, radiofrequency and ultrasound. Her approach is meticulous, with an artistic vision and a focus on natural-looking results, and she is highly skilled and experienced. For male BOTOX patients, she plans injection spots with attention to masculine features.
