Dr. Kristin Dean, MD

Dr. Kristin Dean, MD, founded Glomi Wellness Lab and is the physician responsible for every treatment plan. She takes part in each stage of care, from the first consultation and its recommendations through follow-up. Before starting the practice, she led clinical quality for telemedicine across thousands of patient visits a day, and she has worked in high-pressure medical roles that involved a lot of travel. She holds an undergraduate degree in nutritional sciences and a medical degree from the University of Florida. Her family medicine residency was at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills, and she is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She trained in aesthetic medicine under a Los Angeles physician known for celebrity treatment work, and she continues her medical training to keep current. She has more than fifteen years of medical experience. Her focus is aesthetic medicine, including injectables, resurfacing and body contouring, along with physician-supervised medical weight loss and metabolic health. Services include medical-grade microneedling, Morpheus8 radiofrequency microneedling, wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, EvolveX body contouring and hair restoration. For thinning hair, she reviews medical history and the cause, and can prescribe minoxidil, finasteride or spironolactone when medically appropriate. Her approach is conservative and centers on enhancing rather than altering features, with attention to the whole face; she adjusts depth and energy to skin type and goals. Medical history and current medications are reviewed at consultation, and she will advise against treatment for some patients.
