About
Kourosh Moazemi holds board certification in internal medicine and leads the aesthetic care program at Beau Visage Aesthetics. He has been a Fellow of the American College of Physicians since 2004 and has 23 or more years of experience. From 2004 to 2016 he served as an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, where he taught hundreds of medical students and residents. Across his clinical career he has cared for thousands of patients in many areas of medicine. Much of his practice centers on aesthetic treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers, microneedling, laser procedures, PRP hair restoration, the Nefertiti lift and acne care. He conducts each consultation personally, hearing what a patient wants and advising which options are likely to help and which are not. Treatment plans are shaped by a person's facial anatomy and goals instead of a fixed protocol, and he prefers evidence-based approaches over trend-driven procedures. Before any filler, he reviews medical history, current medications, previous injections and product warnings, and if filler cannot reach the intended result he may recommend another procedure. He also oversees hair loss and anti-aging care. Evaluation for hair loss starts with a work-up and consultation. PRP is generally paired with minoxidil or finasteride. For acne, he begins with gentler options and refers resistant cases, including fulminant acne, to a specialist. His approach is compassionate and personalized, aiming for results that look natural.
