Dr. Khalil Khatri M.D

Dr. Khalil Khatri, M.D., is a dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon at 277 West Village, where his practice covers cosmetic and dermatologic care. He trained at Harvard and has spent more than 25 years working with cosmetic lasers. His Erbium:YAG laser work focuses on refining the appearance of sun-damaged skin. Previously he served as Medical Director at several aesthetic laser companies, leading research and development. He contributed to a generation of fractional lasers used for wrinkles, acne scars and melasma, and he is now developing technology intended to treat and remove cellulite and fat. He also speaks at national and international meetings, teaching physicians about laser technologies. He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed journal papers and has edited and reviewed for several medical journals. He serves on the Standards of Training and on the Constitution & Bylaws committees of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
