Dr. Kevin J. Cross

Kevin J. Cross is a board-certified plastic surgeon who heads Cross Medical Group. After years of practice in New York City alongside leading cosmetic surgeons, he moved back to Philadelphia in 2008. He is in his second decade of practice and operates three to four full days each week. He performs more than 1,000 cosmetic procedures a year. His board scores rank him in the top three percent nationwide. His training runs from general and plastic surgery at Cornell University, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University in New York City to aesthetic surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine as an AOA honors society member. Earlier, he was a research fellow at Northwestern University, studying how skin ages and heals, and he was lead researcher on the Tissue Regeneration Project at Cornell Medical Center. He holds an academic appointment at Cornell University Medical Center. He has authored five textbook chapters on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, presents at national meetings, and headed a clinical study of a device intended to reduce scarring during incision healing. His procedures include facelifts, eyelid, brow and forehead surgery, nose surgery, breast augmentation and reduction, liposuction, tummy tucks, arm lifts, body contouring and hand rejuvenation, and he also works with BOTOX and injectable fillers. He provides detailed consultations and follow-up care alongside procedures. For suitable candidates he offers a neck lift on its own, without requiring a facelift. He shares an aesthetic philosophy with Dr. Jackie Lyons and often collaborates with her.
