Dr. Ket Wray

Dr. Ket Wray started Nexus Derm and serves as its lead clinician. Her career began in pediatric nursing, and she later worked as a Nurse Practitioner in allergy, asthma and immunology before opening her own practice. With more than 20 years in health care, she treats patients of all ages for complex skin and hair conditions.

She completed a Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Northern Kentucky University, where her research examined nutraceuticals in photoprotection. Earlier, she trained at the University of Rochester and earned an MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner along with a BSN. She also holds a BS in Biology from Rochester Institute of Technology.

She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and certified as a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She also holds an additional certification in trichology. In Florida she is licensed as a Licensed Autonomous ARNP with Compact Nurses Licensure, and she holds ARNP licenses in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

Her clinical focus is on how hormonal, metabolic, nutritional, inflammatory and everyday lifestyle influences may affect skin and hair. Evidence-based dermatology is paired with an integrative outlook, and each care plan is shaped around the individual's needs, medical history and goals. Virtual video visits are used to go over health history, symptoms, goals and lab results.
