About
Dr. Kavita Beri is a physician and the founder of BE Mind Body Skin in Oakhurst, New Jersey. She has practiced medicine for more than 20 years, working across regenerative medicine, anti-aging aesthetics and skin care, including laser treatments. Her academic roles include an adjunct professorship in biomedical sciences at Rutgers University in New Jersey, and a visiting scientist post at the university's Center for Biomaterials, where she mentors PhD students, medical students and resident physicians. In 2017 TRI Princeton named her a Fellow of Regenerative Cosmetics. She sits on editorial boards for beauty magazines and scientific journals and has published numerous articles and papers across beauty, regenerative medicine and science. Women's Health and EuroCosmetics have interviewed her. She has presented at national and international conferences, including the Teen Vogue Summit and the Women's Global Forum in Paris. She founded BE School of Light, a program that brings yoga and wellness concepts into healthcare, and teaches yoga philosophy, including the Bhagavad Gita and Yoga Sutras, to yoga teachers in training. She also presented at the Yoga Philosophy Instructions program at New York Yoga NYC.
