Dr. Kate Kleydman

Dr. Kate Kleydman founded Kleydman Dermatology in 2013. She is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and holds FAAD and FAOD credentials. Her practice spans cosmetic dermatology, laser procedures, Mohs micrographic surgery, advanced injectables, skin tightening, PRP regenerative procedures and laser resurfacing. Her main focus is diagnosing and surgically treating skin cancers, benign growths and complex repairs of the face and body, and she offers medical and surgical care with attention to both the health and appearance of the skin. She sees adults, teens and children. Her training started with a medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM), followed by an internship at North Shore LIJ / Plainview Hospital and a dermatology residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital, where she was chief resident. She then completed a fellowship in procedural dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, and is fellowship-trained in Mohs surgery, cosmetic dermatology and laser procedures. She is a former Clinical Assistant Instructor of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she taught residents and fellows cosmetic, laser and surgical techniques. She has contributed to research on cosmetic procedures, aesthetic safety and skin cancer surgery. She performs the neuromodulator injections at the practice, tailoring each treatment to facial anatomy, muscle strength, brow position and the result the patient wants, with the aim of natural expression and facial balance. Her neuromodulator approach is precise and conservative.
