Dr. Karan Dhir

Dr. Karan Dhir is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon practicing in Beverly Hills. He is double board-certified in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and board certified in head and neck surgery, and is listed with the credential MD. He trained at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City and completed a five-year surgical residency. He then spent two more years honing his work in rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, facelifts and facial rejuvenation.

He teaches facial plastic surgery as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and has published articles in JAMA and The American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery. He focuses his practice on facial procedures only. His best-known work is custom jaw and facial implants, and he specializes in ethnic nose surgery for Hispanic, Indian and Middle Eastern patients. He also continues to take part in FDA clinical research trials for newer products and procedures.

In non-surgical work, his specialties include neurotoxin, facial fillers, lip enhancement and non-surgical facial rejuvenation. He developed the proprietary Bow & Arrow lip technique and uses filler volume in key facial regions to restore contour.
