Dr. Juan Gargiulo

Juan Gargiulo is a cosmetic surgeon and board-certified physician at AgeFocus. He completed general surgery training at Lincoln Hospital and New York Medical College, then a two-year plastic surgery residency at Pasteur Hospital in Montevideo. He went on to an anesthesiology residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla, where he was chief resident, and later specialized in pain management. He holds board certifications in anesthesiology and pain management, and he has completed several certifications in advanced pain techniques and aesthetic surgical procedures. He is triple board-certified in cosmetic surgery. For about fifteen years he worked as an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist at Southampton Hospital. He founded East End Pain Management in 2003 and AgeFocus Medical Management in 2010. He specializes in awake body work, including awake excess skin removal, with incisions placed in natural skin folds where possible. He also performs awake brow lifts, which follow an in-person consultation covering medical history and technique selection. He offers penis fillers, takes part in the initial Botox consultation alongside the practice's other practitioners to evaluate facial structure, and assesses each patient's jawline during consultation to decide whether filler is suitable.
