About
Dr. Juan Carlos Rodriguez is the founder of ZafiroMed and of Florida Lung and Sleep Apnea Center, and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Medical School of Nova Southeastern University. He completed general medicine studies in Bogota, Colombia, and graduated from Rosario University as a general doctor and surgeon in 2006. He began practicing aesthetic medicine in Colombia.
His residency in internal medicine was at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, and his pulmonary and critical care fellowship was at University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in sleep medicine and in palliative care. He has completed additional aesthetic medicine courses in the US and currently holds full medical privileges at the Memorial Hospital System in Broward, Florida.
