Dr. Joy Kong

Dr. Joy Kong founded Chara Health and leads the physician-led consultation for stem cell therapy patients. She is a triple board-certified physician, with certifications in psychiatry and neurology, addiction medicine, and anti-aging and regenerative medicine. She practiced psychiatry and addiction medicine before moving into regenerative medicine, trained at UCLA, and trained with regenerative medicine pioneers across the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Her work spans regenerative medicine, anti-aging and integrative wellness. She founded the American Academy of Integrative Cell Therapy and Chara Biologics, speaks internationally, has published in regenerative medicine, and teaches physicians, including those in Los Angeles. She oversees the clinic's treatment protocols, including every ozone and shockwave protocol, and personally oversees every hair restoration, NightLase and Smooth Eye protocol. She also designs brain-health protocols that combine stem cells with integrative medicine, and personally oversees musculoskeletal and facial rejuvenation protocols.

For snoring patients, she will tell them directly if their symptoms suggest obstructive sleep apnea and will guide them to medical evaluation.
