Dr. Joseph M. Perlman

Dr. Joseph M. Perlman is SKNCRAFT's Medical Director, a role in which he oversees safety, ethics and clinical standards. He is a board-certified plastic surgeon, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, and he holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Hand Surgery. He has worked alongside Sabrina Mercer for more than ten years.

He graduated from Brown University Medical School, then completed a surgical residency at Baylor College of Medicine and advanced fellowships in hand surgery and microsurgery. Much of his surgical work is reconstructive, carried out with fine technique. He founded Advanced Plastic Surgery Centre in Northwest Houston, held an Associate Clinical Professor appointment in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, and has consulted in hand surgery at Ben Taub Hospital.

At SKNCRAFT he performs the FaceTite procedure. He has attended sessions at the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery conference and has brought some of the techniques presented there into his private practice. He belongs to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Bariatric Plastic Surgeons.
