Dr. Joseph F. Pohl, MD

Joseph F. Pohl, MD, founded Forge-RX in Winder, Georgia, and he is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. There he offers hormone therapy for men and women, along with anti-aging treatments. Chemistry and business were his undergraduate subjects at the University of Richmond. He then completed medical school at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Next came an internship in San Francisco at Letterman Army Medical Center, a residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, and a pelvic reconstructive surgery fellowship at Emory in Atlanta, Georgia. With three decades in healthcare, twelve of those years in the military, he rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Staff work at Landstuhl Army Regional Medical Center in Germany came before he directed pelvic reconstructive surgery and urogynecology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Bethesda Naval Medical Center, and the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Washington, DC. He has worked at Gwinnett Medical Center since 1998 and now sees patients solo at Women's Healthcare Consultants of Gwinnett in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
