Dr. Joni Jefferson, DO

Dr. Joni Jefferson, DO, founded Zen Aesthetics Spa in Morristown in 2021 and serves as its medical director. She brings more than 15 years of experience in aesthetics and national clinical practice, along with hands-on advanced training under aesthetic injectors. Jefferson earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008, then completed an advanced family medicine residency at Hunterdon Medical Center. She also holds a Master of Public Health from UMDNJ and an undergraduate degree with honors from Spelman College, and she is a board-certified family physician. Her clinical work covers neuromodulators, dermal fillers and collagen-stimulating treatments. Her particular areas include facial balancing and care for skin of color, and she chooses lasers that are safe across all skin tones. Patients of every skin tone and skin type are welcome. Each treatment plan starts from a physician's viewpoint, with the aim of natural-looking outcomes and personalized care that works with each patient's own features.
