Dr. John Walker, MD

He practices as a plastic surgeon in Lawndale, California, and founded his practice there out of the view that residents of the South Bay should have easier access to plastic surgery. He performs cosmetic and reconstructive procedures and is the operating surgeon at Dr. Walker Plastic Surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of the Free State Medical School in Bloemfontein in 1995. His surgical training took place in South Africa and the United States, and his advanced plastic and reconstructive surgery training was completed at the University of Southern California and Case Western Reserve University. He keeps up with advanced surgical training and works alongside colleagues from many countries. He has over 30 years of experience in medicine and surgery. Previously he held the position of Director of Aesthetic Skin Care at Beverly Hills Surgical Institute and served as Medical Director at Beacon Point Surgery Medical Center. He has also worked as an attending cosmetic plastic surgeon at several accredited surgical facilities in Southern California. He belongs to the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery and the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He welcomes patients who have felt passed over or poorly served by other practices.
