About
Dr. Phelts has been a licensed chiropractor in New York since 2003 and practices at Phelts Chiropractic in New York, NY. He earned a Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 2003, graduating magna cum laude, and has also studied at Queens College, City University of New York. He completed the college's post-graduate Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician course and holds certification in Professional Applied Kinesiology from the International College of Applied Kinesiology.
His clinical focus covers neck, shoulder, low back, hip, thigh, knee and elbow conditions, along with carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff injuries and ankle disorders. Through applied kinesiology he works on injury recovery, phobia and stress relief, and allergy desensitization, using manual muscle testing as a feedback method during care. Sessions can add meridian and acupoint work, TCM-style stimulation, stress points and spinal adjustments.
On the aesthetic side, he performs EMSCULPT NEO treatments at the practice and is the practitioner for EMFACE, EMSCULPT NEO, EMSELLA and EXION FACE. He completed clinical EMFACE training and is a BTL Industries verified, trained EMFACE provider.
