Dr. John R. Nesiba

Dr. John R. Nesiba owns Flourish Surgical Arts, where he serves as its surgeon. He is a cosmetic surgeon practicing in Denver and holds three board certifications. He is a leading cosmetic surgeon in the city. He holds doctorates in both dentistry and medicine. Before joining the practice, he spent six years at the Detroit Medical Center in maxillofacial and general surgery, and he has served as faculty at Oklahoma University Medical Center. He has more than nine years of post-graduate training. His cosmetic training includes a fellowship from the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, completed before he joined the practice, and mentorship from Dr. Erik J. Nuveen and Dr. Courtney Caplin. He also trained with Alfredo Hoyos in high-definition liposuction. The American Board of Cosmetic Surgery gave him its top scores on the 2018 written and oral board examinations, and he received the William K. Miles, M.D. and Robert F. Jackson, M.D. awards for those results. He has completed more than 1,000 cosmetic surgical procedures. He focuses on tummy tucks and high-definition liposuction, and he has extensive experience with mommy makeovers. He also works in facial reconstruction and orthognathic surgery. At the first consultation he discusses each patient's goals and expectations, orders any testing needed before surgery, and suggests a tummy tuck type suited to the patient's characteristics. For mommy makeovers, he works with the practice to select suitable procedures and build a surgical plan for each patient.
