Dr. Jhonny Salomon

Dr. Jhonny Salomon practices as a board-certified plastic surgeon in Miami and has more than twenty years of experience in the field. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Medical Science from Boston University in 1987, graduating magna cum laude, and a Doctor of Medicine from the same university in 1991. His postgraduate training took him to the University of Connecticut, where he finished a general surgery residency in 1995, and then to Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, for plastic and reconstructive surgery from 1995 to 1997. From 1997 to 1998 he completed a craniofacial surgery fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He has held board certification from the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery since 1999.

Since 1997 he has sat on the editorial board of Selected Readings in Plastic Surgery. He has written for scientific journals and presented research at plastic surgery forums. His memberships include the Dade Medical Society, the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Greater Miami Society of Plastic Surgeons, along with the American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has been featured in news publications nationwide, has appeared in national, international and local magazines, and has been seen on the Discovery Health Channel, Telemundo and NBC.

His practice covers natural-looking facelifts, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, liposuction, tummy tucks and eyelid surgery. He also performs facial procedures that reshape the ears, nose, chin and mouth, and laser treatments for fine lines, wrinkles, unwanted body hair, surgical scars, acne scars and old tattoos. Each patient has a comprehensive consultation and a tailored plan. Before surgery he answers questions, walks patients through the process, and sets expectations for symmetry, size and recovery time before a date is booked.
