Dr. Jen Perez

Dr. Jen Perez serves as both doctor and lead injector at The Lip Spa. She entered facial aesthetics more than 30 years ago in Venezuela, after first working in engineering. In 1992 she picked up facial contouring techniques from the makeup artists for Miss Venezuela and Miss Universe, Bárbara Palacios.

She holds a chemistry and biochemistry degree from the University of South Florida, graduated magna cum laude, and completed training at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in total mouth reconstruction and dental makeovers. Her specialty is head and neck anatomy, and she studies and teaches facial anatomy, Botox, fillers and PDO threads.

She is a fellow and faculty member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and works as a national instructor in facial aesthetics. She has taught more than 4,400 hours to doctors, nurses and dentists across the United States, with teaching stops in Miami, Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago and Boston. Her approach favors natural, individualized results, aiming to highlight the smile, and she holds that a small amount applied at the right time works better than too much later.
