Dr. Jeffrey Ruterbusch

Dr. Jeffrey Ruterbusch is a preventive medicine physician on the Jacksonville team. He is retired from the U.S. Navy, where he worked as both a physician and a flight surgeon. Medical school was funded through the United States Health Professions Scholarship Program, and his internal medicine internship was completed at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Later training took place at the University of California, San Diego and at San Diego State University, where he served as Chief Resident in that institution's SEPM program. Earlier in his naval career, he took on operational medicine assignments with the U.S. Marine Corps in Okinawa, Japan, and later worked as a Navy flight surgeon in Pensacola and Jacksonville, Florida.
