Dr. Jay Goldstein

Dr. Jay Goldstein owns PRP Hair Loss Treatment in New Jersey and serves as its medical director, seeing patients at the Plainsboro center. He spent several years in primary care and emergency medicine and served as a flight surgeon in the USAF. He later became New Jersey State Commissioner of Health. He has also been president of the NJ Council of Teaching Hospitals, has sat on many healthcare boards and councils, and is the immediate past president of the Monmouth-Ocean Medical Society.

He trained at the Ohio State University College of Medicine and at Harvard, completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Florida Medical Center, and took post-graduate training at the Brooks School of Aerospace Medicine. He is certified to inject platelet rich plasma and Botox, and his practice includes aesthetic medicine.

He has treated hair loss since 2016. He has treated more than 1,500 hair loss patients with a 95% success rate, and he was voted the top Hair Loss Doctor in NJ three times, including 2025.
