Dr. Irvin M. Wiesman

Dr. Irvin M. Wiesman is a board-certified plastic surgeon who works at the Chicago med spa. He is triple board-certified in plastic surgery. In July 2003 he entered private practice alongside his father, Dr. Gary G. Wiesman. Their shared practice offers facial surgery, cosmetic surgery, breast surgery, body contouring, head and neck surgery and reconstruction, and general reconstructive surgery. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, has presented papers at meetings across the country, and has published in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters. He also teaches residents in Chicago-area training programs.

He trained first at the University of Illinois in Chicago, where he attended medical school. Five years of general surgery followed at St. Joseph's Hospital, a Northwestern University affiliate. He then completed a hand and microvascular surgery fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, and plastic surgery training at SUMMA Health Systems in Akron, Ohio.

At the med spa, his particular interest is skin rejuvenation. His surgical work includes cosmetic and facial procedures, breast surgery and body contouring, among other operations.
