Dr. Imebet Thompson

Dr. Imebet Thompson founded Beth Defines Beauty Hair Products and serves as its founder and a master braider. She began her hair career in Jamaica, working as a braid stylist at a local salon in Kingston. After moving to the United States, she developed skills in braiding, locs and natural hair care. Her other work includes makeup artistry at New York Fashion Week, with features in local New York magazines. She has also worked on set as an assistant. Clients include Brandy Norwood and Rhona Bennett of Envogue. She won first place grand prize at her first competition, the Afrolicious Natural Hair Expo.
