About
Dr. Hyewon Shin is the founder and chief acupuncturist of Saebom Clinic. She holds the L.Ac credential and the K.Pharmacist credential. Her work centers on acupuncture and herbal medicine, and she prescribes the clinic's herbal medicines.
She earned a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Sungkyunkwan University in 1986 and a master's degree in oriental medicine from South Baylo University in 2018. Her career began in 1986 as a clinical pharmacist in the pharmacy department of a Korean hospital. From 1988 to 2001 she was head pharmacist and herbal medicine specialist at Seoul Evergreen Pharmacy, and from 2003 to 2008 she held the same role at Seoul Sun Pharmacy.
She has been founder and chief acupuncturist of OC Saebom Acupuncture Clinic since 2019. She has extensive experience in Eastern medicine.
