About
Dr. Humera H. Naqvi is the Medical Director and an Owner/Partner of Luminous MediSpa. She holds an MD, earned from Ross University School of Medicine in 2008, and is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician. She completed an Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Affiliated Hospital Morristown Medical Center and became an American College Fellow in 2015. She has nearly 11 years of experience in the medical field.
Before moving into aesthetics, she practiced primary care in Jersey City, New Jersey, and worked as an inpatient hospitalist at Bayonne Medical Center and St. Barnabas Medical Center. She spent about nine years as a hospitalist while running a private practice in the Houston and Katy area. Her aesthetic training includes two years of travel across the United States to learn from aesthetic injectors, and she trained under physicians, dermatologists, plastic surgeons and neurosurgery experts described as having more than 25 years of aesthetic experience.
Her work pairs medical knowledge with skincare expertise across the spa's range of treatments and procedures.
