About
Dr. Harold Bafitis practices plastic surgery in Jupiter, Florida, at Bafitis Plastic Surgery. He holds board certification in both general surgery and plastic surgery, carries FACOS and FACS credentials, and has more than 26 years of practice in plastic surgery. His work spans cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, and he spent years abroad serving with Doctors Without Borders. In his own surgical practice he has performed tummy tucks and facelifts. He graduated with honors from the University of Maryland, College Park, then earned a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health at the Houston Health Science Center. His medical degree, cum laude, is from the University of North Texas, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Residency training ran five years in general surgery at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, which is linked to the Ohio University medical school. He then completed a two-year plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the Plastic Surgery Institute and affiliated hospitals in Des Moines, Iowa, and a cosmetic and breast surgery fellowship with Cincinnati Plastic Surgery Associates. His focus includes facial rejuvenation using traditional, endoscopic and temporal brow lifts, along with other facial procedures. He also performs breast reductions, augmentations and reconstructions. He is a former chairman of the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery and sits on a residency committee for the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. He is a leader and educator in aesthetic surgery who trains surgeons and students, and a leader in continuing medical education. At the first consultation he analyzes facial structure to recommend the most suitable facelift type and takes photographs so changes can be compared later. Before Morpheus8 Burst Deep or other skin tightening, he evaluates skin condition and medical history, discusses goals, and explains expected outcomes, side effects and aftercare. He can reduce dynamic and static wrinkles with Morpheus8 Burst Deep.
