About
Dr. Haritha Mikkilineni, known as Dr. Mikki, started Medrein Health & Aesthetics in 2020 and is its medical director. She is a board-certified physician with licences in Texas and New Mexico. She practised as an emergency medicine physician for more than 15 years before opening the clinic, and has more than 10 years of experience in aesthetic medicine. She also provides medical review for the practice's website, including the treatment and hormone therapy pages. She runs the clinic, personally handles every consultation and does most of the treatments herself. Those include neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, biostimulators and Sciton laser work. She carries out every neurotoxin injection, selecting the product and dose for each area with the goal of preserving natural movement, and she builds combined treatments into a single plan. At consultation she decides the device, settings and number of Sciton sessions. Any procedure she does not do herself is performed under her direct supervision. She designed the clinic and tests each treatment on herself before offering it to patients. Her longevity services include medical weight loss, which she designed and oversees, as well as peptide therapy and hormone replacement. Before prescribing a GLP-1 medication she reviews medical history and current medications, sets the starting dose, and adjusts it at follow-up based on lab results and how the patient responds. She will advise when a GLP-1 is not appropriate for a patient. For hormone therapy she reviews symptoms, history and hormone-level labs together, presents FDA-approved and compounded options side by side, and retests during treatment. She can combine these services into one plan.
