Dr. H (Leonard J Hicks)

Dr. H holds a DAOM and a PhD and is a licensed extended-scope acupuncturist (LAc). He completed a Master's in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of East West Medicine in Sunnyvale, California, followed by a doctorate in acupuncture and oriental medicine from South Baylo University in Anaheim, California. Part of his acupuncture education took place in China. He is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, holding a Functional Medicine Practitioner Certification from Functional Medicine University, and an advanced certification in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine from the Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center. Additional certifications span genetic testing, the Bredesen Protocol, the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), NCCAOM compounding, acupuncture point injection, microneedling, PRP/PRF advanced facelift and body rejuvenation, advanced facial acupuncture, ozone therapy and IV infusion. His licenses allow practice nationally through the NCCAOM, in California through the CAB/DCA, in Florida through the Florida Department of Health and in Arizona through the Arizona Acupuncture Board. His work centers on Precision Functional Medicine and on PRF treatments for both medical and cosmetic uses.
