Dr. Gregory Chernoff

Dr. Gregory Chernoff is a facial and reconstructive plastic surgeon at the Indianapolis practice, with more than 30 years of plastic surgery, cosmetic treatment and reconstructive surgery in Indianapolis behind him. He is board-certified by the American Board of Facial, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He earned a medical degree and a bachelor's degree in anatomy at the University of Saskatchewan, and completed an internship at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon. His surgical training includes a five-year otolaryngology residency at the University of California, San Francisco, which covered head and neck, microvascular, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. He completed fellowships in head and neck surgery at the University of Western Ontario, in head and neck, microvascular, and breast and body contouring surgery in Indianapolis, in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at UCSF, and in flow cytometry and laser surgery in Canada. His specialties include complex reconstruction for head, face and neck cancer, laser therapy, eyelid lifts, facelifts, rhinoplasty, liposuction, and cosmetic injectables and dermal fillers. He treats non-healing wounds, injuries, fractured facial bones and scars of every severity for patients of the Survivors of Violence Foundation, which he founded and leads as president. He serves on the boards of the North American Academy of Cosmetic and Restorative Surgery and the Coalition Against Domestic Violence. He is a faculty member of the Aesthetics Academy and the Allergan National Training Center, and sits on the editorial boards of several medical journals. He completes on average 100 hours of continuing medical education each year. He has written many scientific papers and laser textbook chapters, and has given more than 800 lectures to physicians worldwide.
