Dr. Greg Romney

Dr. Greg Romney is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at AZ Max Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, seeing patients at the Queen Creek and Mesa offices. He holds a DMD and practices as both a dentist and a surgeon. Before his surgical training he studied dentistry and oral health at the Arizona School of Dentistry, having graduated summa cum laude from Brigham Young University. During dental school he earned a Dental Public Health Residency Certificate and worked providing dental care to underserved communities in the United States and overseas. He trained in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, a joint program of the University of Arizona and Banner Hospitals, and was that program's first graduating resident. He has since taught residents there. His areas include full-arch restorations, dental implants (including All-On-4), wisdom teeth removal and extractions, bonding and brackets, bony pathology and bone grafting, and sedation dentistry with anesthesia. He is among the oral surgeons listed at the Mesa office, and he enjoys treating children, working alongside a pediatric anesthesiologist. He is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has published in scientific journals and a textbook.
