Grace Lee, DMD, MD, founded K-Esthetique and carries out the procedures the clinic offers. She began with a degree in molecular biology at UC Berkeley. She earned a DMD from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1995 and an MD from SUNY Stony Brook in 1997. She completed oral and maxillofacial surgery training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 2001, and she is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Earlier in her career she did research at Brigham and Women's Hospital on fetal surgery and wound healing, with work aimed at cleft lip and palate. She also taught as a clinical instructor in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Stony Brook School of Dentistry. She is certified to use the clinic's equipment.
