Dr. Gopika Dasari

Dr. Gopika Dasari is the founder and lead physician of Ayurva Medical. She earned a B.S. in biological sciences from the University of California, Irvine in 2012 and an M.D. from Ross University School of Medicine in 2017. She completed an internal medicine internship and residency at Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine from 2018 to 2021, followed by an integrative medicine fellowship at the University of Arizona from 2023 to 2025.

She holds board certifications in internal medicine (American Board of Internal Medicine, 2021), obesity medicine (American Board of Obesity Medicine, 2023) and integrative medicine (American Board of Physician Specialties, 2026). She also holds Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification and has completed American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine training at Levels 1 and 2. She has worked full-time as a locums physician since 2021, at hospitals and skilled nursing facilities across Northern California, where she has performed a range of critical-care procedures with varied patient populations.

Her clinical work covers primary care, integrative medicine, weight management and gut health, including in-depth assessments and follow-ups and GLP prescription and management. Patients often describe her as kind, patient, thorough, personable and knowledgeable.
