Dr. Ginger Sweetan, ND

Dr. Ginger Sweetan, ND, founded NaturopathicRx in Rancho Santa Fe, where she practices as a naturopathic doctor offering individualized, integrative care. Her health care work covers close to thirty years. She started out as a Navy hospital corpsman and EMT, moved into nursing, and later qualified as a naturopathic doctor. Earlier clinical settings include acute and urgent care, allergies and immunizations, dermatology, internal medicine, labor and delivery, med/surg, obstetrics and gynecology, primary care, pediatrics, and psychiatry. She earned a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University San Diego, and a BA in Psychology with a biopsych emphasis, magna cum laude, from California State University San Marcos. Her residency was at an AANMC-approved integrative urgent and primary care program. Advanced training includes bioidentical hormones, IV therapy, aesthetics, biofeedback, Bach Flowers, epigenetics, homeopathy, and hydrotherapy. Her clinical focus areas include longevity medicine with peptides, pre-diabetes, sexual health, supplements, environmental medicine, and epigenetics and nutrigenomics. She also works in hypertension and hyperlipidemia, biohacking and performance optimization, regenerative therapies, and prescription consults, and offers PRP and exosome therapies for hair restoration, microneedling, and injections. Advanced aging, laboratory, and diagnostic testing, including BioAge testing, is part of her practice. She holds the title State and Federal Affairs Chair with the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, is a past two-term member of that association's Board of Directors, and is a past member of the Legislative Committee of the California Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
