About

Dr. Gina Charles founded Serenity Aesthetics & Wellness, where she serves as medical director. She is board certified in family and aesthetic medicine. She holds an osteopathic medical degree from Rowan University's osteopathic medical school in Stratford, New Jersey, and completed her residency at UPMC Pinnacle Health in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Before opening the practice, she ran a bridal beauty business, and she later pursued further training in aesthetics. Treating ethnic skin is a clinical focus. She has been recognized nationally for whole body wellness expertise and as an ethnic skin doctor in Philadelphia. Her work has been featured in Forbes, Women's Health, Essence and Fox News, and she has written articles for Dermascope Magazine, the Philadelphia Inquirer and Her Agenda. She also mentors pre-medical and medical students. Her services include laser skin rejuvenation, laser hair removal, microneedling, hair restoration, combination treatments, body neurotoxin and advanced injections.
