Dr. George Moynihan

Dr. George Moynihan founded Gold Coast Plastic Surgery in Chicago, where he serves as medical director and practices as a facial plastic surgeon. He holds certification from two boards: the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has practiced for more than 25 years, and the site reports over 6,000 facial surgeries and more than 3,750 rhinoplasties among his completed procedures. He earned a B.A. in economics from Villanova University, graduating magna cum laude, and an M.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo, graduating cum laude. He completed a general surgery internship and an otolaryngology, head and neck surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center. He then trained in a fellowship with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Birmingham, Alabama, under Daniel E. Rousso, MD. He is a clinical assistant professor in otolaryngology at Loyola University Medical Center and Rush University Medical Center and has presented grand rounds talks on otoplasty, skin resurfacing and brow lifts.
