Dr. Gehaan D'Souza

Dr. Gehaan D'Souza founded Iconic Plastic Surgery, where he is medical director, and he is a board-certified plastic surgeon. His aesthetic work covers the face, nose, breast and body, as well as migraine surgery. He belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgery and speaks English and Spanish. He also performs male breast reduction for gynecomastia.

He earned a Bachelor of Science with distinction at Johns Hopkins University and a medical degree from the School of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine. His surgical training included a general surgery residency at the University of Nebraska, a plastic surgery residency at the University of California, San Diego, and an elective fellowship in cosmetic and aesthetic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.

He has developed new surgical techniques, and his research has covered facial aging, breast cancer reconstruction, microsurgery and rhinoplasty. His articles have appeared in the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Aesthetic Surgery Journal, Annals of Plastic Surgery and the New England Journal of Medicine. He has presented at meetings of the Plastic Surgery Research Council, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the California Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Each procedure is planned around the patient's goals and anatomy. He is thorough, gives each surgical patient individual attention and time, and has a calm manner at the bedside. He puts weight on careful patient selection and candid recommendations.
