Dr. Frederick Lukash

Dr. Frederick Lukash is a board-certified plastic surgeon with Sanctuary Plastic Surgery, practicing at the Boca Raton clinic and in West Palm Beach. He practiced for more than 44 years in the New York metropolitan area before joining the South Florida practice, so his career now spans over four decades. Early on, he was an Instructor in Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Assistant in Surgery at Shriners Hospital for Children in Boston. Much of his work has focused on patients with facial deformities and complex reconstructive needs. He holds a patent for a microsurgical monitoring device. He was president of the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgery and founded its publication, The Excelsior, where he is now Editor-in-Chief Emeritus. He belongs to the ASPS, the ASAPS, the AAPS and the AAPPS. He has written three books on body image and self-esteem and contributed chapters to medical textbooks. He has given interviews and appeared in national and international media on plastic surgery and patient confidence. The website states that he has been voted one of America's Top Doctors by Castle Connolly and the Consumer Research Council of America, and that he was named to Newsweek's 2023 list of America's Best Plastic Surgeons for rhinoplasty.
