Dr. Farhan Abdullah

Dr. Farhan Abdullah serves as Medical Director at Magnolia Functional Wellness, where he leads the medical aesthetic team and runs the medical weight loss program. He holds a DO degree, attended medical school at Nova Southeastern, and is board-certified in internal medicine. He also studied accounting and biology at UAB and later earned an MBA and an MPH there. He still practices hospital medicine in Dallas.

His hormone work draws on his internal medicine training and his formal hormone therapy certification. He provides testosterone replacement therapy and hormone optimization, reading testosterone against SHBG, estradiol, thyroid and metabolic markers instead of relying on a single number, and he talks through delivery method options and their trade-offs during the TRT consultation. On the weight loss side, he oversees semaglutide programs built on lab work, structured dose titration and physician oversight, and tirzepatide protocols with comprehensive metabolic monitoring.

He also leads the team that provides laser hair removal, skin resurfacing, IPL photofacial and chemical peels. He oversees every NAD+ protocol at the clinic, reviewing health history, current medications and clinical goals before recommending therapy and selecting the dose to each patient's clinical picture. He supervises all IV therapy at the practice together with his medical team, including physician-supervised IV iron infusions. He prescribes FDA-approved peptide medications and helps patients sort out which compounds can be used legally and how to weigh marketing claims about peptides.
