About
Dr. Farhad Rejali is the owner and doctor at the practice in Scottsdale. He earned an MD in Iran, awarded in 1996, and a naturopathic medical degree from Toronto, Canada. He completed an 18-month internship with rotations in surgery and internal medicine and studied integrative medicine for two years in Canada. After medical school he trained in aesthetic medicine and opened a private non-surgical aesthetics practice in Iran. His hair transplant training began in 2006, including hands-on FUT and FUE instruction from surgeons among the best known in the world. He later moved to the US and opened a private practice first in California, then in Arizona. He holds an active medical license in Iran and an active naturopathic medical license in California and Arizona. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, with membership since 2010, and has served as an oral protocol examiner for the board since 2011. He performed thousands of FUT procedures before shifting most hair transplants to FUE starting in 2012, and has mostly performed FUE over the past eight years. He has performed over 6,000 procedures and millions of grafts in hair transplantation, has about two decades of hair transplant experience, and has about 20 years in aesthetic and minimally invasive medicine. His hair transplant work centers on an ultra-refined FUE technique using very small punches and small incision sites, along with methods he has developed for natural hairlines and dense packing. He personally performs the critical steps, including hairline design, graft extraction and recipient site creation, and uses two-layer and trichophytic closure to reduce visible FUT scarring. He also performs FUE for beard restoration and for adding density to patchy beard areas, eyebrow restoration for women, correction of earlier unsuccessful transplants, and transplants into scar tissue from prior FUT surgery, burns, trauma and skin disease. On the aesthetic side he focuses on non-surgical facial contouring with neuromodulators, dermal fillers, thread lifts and lasers. He trains doctors and hair technicians internationally, treats patients from across the US and other countries, researches new hair transplant technology on an ongoing basis, and offers a hair restoration consultation to assess hair loss and recommend next steps.
