Dr. Evan Rieder

Dr. Evan Rieder founded the practice and is dual board-certified in dermatology and psychiatry, a combination only three American physicians hold. He trained at Dartmouth College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, then completed residencies in psychiatry and in dermatology at NYU School of Medicine. After seven years as a full-time faculty member in the NYU Department of Dermatology, he moved into private practice. Along the way he has taught medical students and dermatology and psychiatry trainees, lectured colleagues across the country, written more than 50 peer-reviewed articles, and edited two textbooks, one on cosmetic dermatology and one on where aesthetics and psychiatry overlap. For five years he hosted The Dermatology Show on Sirius XM radio. His clinical work covers comprehensive acne and acne scar treatment, wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, non-surgical hair restoration and laser resurfacing, along with general, surgical and skin care dermatology and the diagnosis and treatment of hair and nail disorders. He has injected dermal fillers since the early 2010s and has more than a decade of practice experience. Injection plans are customized for each patient, and he treats patients of all ages. He belongs to the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Psychiatric Association. He has been named to the Super Doctors list in The New York Times every year since 2015. Gentleman's Quarterly, Vogue, Allure and Marie Claire have all run features on him, as have The Washington Post and The New York Times.
