Dr. Eugene J. Nowak DO, FAOCD

Eugene J. Nowak, DO, FAOCD, founded Nowak Aesthetics and is a board-certified dermatologist. His practice centers on cosmetic dermatology, laser skin rejuvenation and minimally invasive body contouring. He is award-winning, pioneered ThermaLipo and Awake Lipo, and has been a CoolSculpting provider for more than 10 years.

He received medical training at Midwestern University and completed his residency at POH Medical Center through Michigan State University. During residency he served as chief resident and as resident liaison to the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology Board of Directors. He was appointed to the Sigma Sigma Phi National Honor Society.

He trains residents through a UCSD medical training program and serves as a preceptor for physicians and cosmetic surgeons learning dermatologic and cosmetic surgery procedures. He speaks at national and international medical meetings and is often a guest on television and radio programs discussing cosmetic procedures in San Diego.
