Dr. Eric Tuggle

Eric Tuggle, a facial cosmetic surgeon, practices at Skin + Face Phoenix. Two boards certify him: the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, the latter of which includes him in its surgeon directory. Banner Desert Medical Center in Phoenix has granted him hospital privileges and a staff appointment, and he is also affiliated with the Presbyterian Hospital System and select Lovelace hospitals in New Mexico. He studied at Abilene Christian University before training at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005. He stayed on for oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty training, serving as chief resident and completing the residency in 2009. That program covered facial anatomy, surgery, anesthesia, trauma care and patient safety. After residency he set up an oral surgery and facial aesthetics practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and later brought his facial cosmetic surgery work to Phoenix. With more than 15 years of surgical experience since residency, his work centers on the face and neck. Surgical services include facelifts, neck lifts, eyelid surgery, chin and neck liposuction, lip lifts, buccal fat removal and facial mole removal. Nonsurgical offerings include facial rejuvenation, laser skin resurfacing and nonsurgical facial treatments. He performs deep plane facelifts and preservation deep plane facelifts, around 100 each year. He works as a Sciton key opinion leader and trainer alongside Tonya C. Tuggle. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and the dental associations of Arizona and New Mexico.
