Dr. Elise Weiss, MD

Dr. Elise Weiss, MD, founded Weiss Wellness + Beauty and practices as a physiatrist. She holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors from Cornell University and attended medical school at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her physical medicine and rehabilitation residency through the joint Columbia and Cornell program at New York Presbyterian Hospital. She is board certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has also held a clinical instructor appointment in physical medicine and rehabilitation at New York Presbyterian Hospital, affiliated with Weill Cornell. She treated injured patients for years before opening the practice. Her clinical work covers musculoskeletal and sports medicine as well as regenerative aesthetics, focusing on spine, joint, tendon and nerve conditions and on injuries and chronic pain managed without surgery. Aesthetic medicine is a particular interest, and she leans toward natural options where possible. She has worked as an on-site physician at many athletic events and has provided backstage medical care to Broadway performers. She has co-authored publications on sports injury, nutrition, athletic training, arthritis, sciatica, Botox for migraines, musculoskeletal disorders, neuropathic pain and spasticity.
