Dr. Efrain Soto

Dr. Soto practices family medicine and wound care at Park Lakes Family Medicine. He did his undergraduate work and first medical training in Cuba. He earned his medical degree from Universidad Central Del Este in the Dominican Republic in 2004. He later took further medical training at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida. He finished a family medicine residency in October 2008 at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine, and he received the I-CARE Values Award during that residency. His clinical interests are general family medicine and aesthetic medicine, and he has specific training in wound care. He also holds memberships in the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Practice, the Harris County Medical Society of Family Physicians and the American Professional Wound Care Association. He has about 22 years of experience in the medical field and is affiliated with Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital. He welcomes patients from the Bay Area of Houston, particularly in Friendswood, Alvin and Pearland.
