Dr. Effie Politis

Dr. Effie Politis owns her practice and is a board-certified plastic surgeon. She received her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed her plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of South Florida, where she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. During her training she collaborated closely with Dr. David J. Smith, who is a former Chair and Director of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Her work covers breast, body, and face and neck surgery, as well as MedSpa treatments. Her injectable and skin rejuvenation plans are led by a physician. Her injectable plans take facial anatomy, movement and proportion into account, and neuromodulators are dosed conservatively. Her signature procedure is the 24-Hour Breast Augmentation. Procedures include mommy makeovers, liposuction and tummy tucks. For mommy makeovers, she tailors the plan and, when it is safe to do so, combines several steps into a single operation. She has advanced training in facial anatomy and reconstructive principles. Consultations with her are hands-on, including a physical exam, skin marking during the visit, and a physical demonstration of the anatomy involved and the changes to expect. She remains involved from the first meeting through recovery, provides one-on-one care through the final follow-up, and personally checks in with surgical patients as they heal.
